Instant Pot (or Not) Spicy Cranberry Chicken Drumsticks + Skinnier Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Save-A-Lot. The opinions and text are all mine. With game day right around the corner, it's time to start thinking snacks. While I do love traditional hot wings, heavy dips, and super fattening foods, my pants sure don't! My husband is a big football fan. He likes to invite his friends over to yell at the TV and eat snacks on Sundays (or tailgate as he calls it). I, on the other hand, am not a football fan. Terrible thing to say, I know. I just can't get into it! But, just because I don't love the game, doesn't mean I can't enjoy the snacks. I do love stuffing my face for 3 hours. If only the calories didn't count Keep Reading

Homemade Uncrustables

As we all gear up for back to school, I thought what a better way to celebrate (or morn the end of summer) than with a frugal back to school lunch hack you moms are going to love, Homemade Uncrustables. Not only will these babies save you time in the morning, but they will also save you a small fortune by making them yourself. When shopping for back to school lunches last year, I bought a box of Uncrustables (for an outrageous price) just to discover that my son really doesn't like peanut butter OR jelly. But, a plus out of that was I totally didn't mind them and they were so easy to just grab and go. Yes, I am totally admitting that I actually really like these and now make them for Keep Reading

Instant Pot Pulled Pork

Looking for an easy dinner idea? Instant Pot Pulled Pork is for you! All you have to do is throw everything in the pot and let it do the work for you! My husband is a really big fan of pulled pork. Usually I just throw it in the crock-pot and let it cook all day, but now that I am completely obsessed with my Instant Pot, yesterday just seemed like the perfect day to convert my tried and true recipe. When I say it seemed like the perfect day I mean I forgot to throw dinner in the crock-pot until about 2 hours before dinner. Initially I was a little worried about the meat coming out dry or tough because I wasn't 100% sure on cooking time but It turned out amazing! The meat was so Keep Reading

Gourmet Chicken Salad

If your looking for a new spin on the old chicken salad, boy do I have a recipe for you! Not only is this gourmet chicken salad recipe super easy to make, it's also amazingly cheap and can be made to include practically anything you want. Take that $11 you would spend in your local cafe for a similar sandwich and feed your entire family easily! If you are looking for something else to add to this salad try adding apples if they are in season. I also like to use left over oven baked chicken. We are not big on left overs in my house so this is a great recipe for us to make sure to use what we have (and I dont have to hear complaints ;) ). What ever you do, DO NOT ADD TO MUCH MAYO! Even Keep Reading
