Spinach and Provolone Stuffed Flank Steak
So for dinner I decided to try something new, something that looked fancy but wasn't a lot of work. My husband is always whining about not having steak for dinner (me and my son aren't really big meat eaters) and I thought what a good way to shut him up. This turned out really very delicious and was pretty simple to make. Plus it looked gorgeous! Oh and I just wanted to throw this out there if you don't have a meat mallet be creative.. I used the end of a socket wrench because we no longer have a regular hammer in the house. Pound the meat between two sheets of cling wrap, or even plastic baggies if that's what you have on hand. Spinach and Provolone Stuffed Flank Steak Prep Time: 1 Keep Reading
Chicken Bacon Mac & Cheese
Tonight I decided to change up the "Traditional" mac and cheese recipe. When I usually make it I just mac it with out anything but, its pretty versatile. You can pretty much add anything to this and it still would be delicious. I have even just thrown the mac in cheese (made except for baking) in the crock pot for an hour instead if the oven. Ingredients 1 16oz elbow noodles 3 Tablespoons butter 3 Tablespoons flour 2 Cups milk 1 8 ounce package cream cheese (I have used store brand and Philadelphia and I strongly suggest you get the Philadelphia) 2 Teaspoons spicy brown mustard 3 Cups sharp cheddar cheese 2 Cups cooked chicken breast (cubed) 8 Ounces cooked bacon Keep Reading
BAKED Chicken Wings
I was REALLY excited to make theses. I can't stand when I have to stink up the house from frying anything. The smell seems to stick to everything for days and its just a big turn off for me. This was really easy to make and paired well with the Loaded Potato Casserole. Pleas don't judge by my picture, some of them came out really crispy like they were suppose to but my husband cam home and was starving so I had to cut the cooking time short. Ingredients 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 20 chicken wings 1/2 cup melted butter 1/2 cup hot pepper sauce Directions Line a baking sheet with Keep Reading
Loaded Potato Casserole
This was the easiest and most annoying thing to make at the same time. The whole having to do things in steps really irritated me. I feel like a casserole should be a one step process.. throw it all together in a pan and BAM dinner. This wasn't to much work and overall was pretty good. I would say about 4 stars out off 5 if I was rating. Ingredients 2 pounds boneless chicken breasts, cubed (1") 8-10 medium potatoes, cut in 1/2" cubes 1/3 cup olive oil 1&1/2 tsp salt 1 Tbsp. black pepper 1 Tbsp. paprika 2 Tbsp. garlic powder 6 Tbsp. hot sauce 2 cups fiesta blend cheese 1 cup crumbled bacon 1 cup diced green onion Directions Preheat oven to 500 Keep Reading
The Best New York Style Cheesecake
Okay so I can never make cheesecake correctly!!! My cheesecake is always falling in the middle or is over/undercooked. This recipe has made a cheesecake lover out of even my two year old. I gave him a little piece after we had dinner tonight and he went crazy. He cried until I gave him more (notice the two pieces cut out above). If you have cheesecake issues or just want a delicious NY style cheesecake I'm telling you this is your recipe. Its super simple to follow but its really critical that you leave this in the oven and do not open the door until the next morning or it will develop the fallen center (BELIVE ME). Ingredients 15 graham crackers, crushed 2 tablespoons butter, Keep Reading
