There is a new way to save coming to your local Hannaford! I signed up for the all new My Hannaford Rewards program and I have to say, you’re going to love it!
If you live in the Northeast (ME, NH, MA, VT and NY), chances are you’ve probably shopped at a Hannaford Supermarket before. I know for me personally, Hannaford is my go to store when I have to do any sort of grocery shopping. Not only is it 4 minutes away from my house, but it’s also the only grocery store in town that offers online to go shopping orders! And, being that I am due in a little over a week with my second son, and I already have a 5-year-old who hates shopping as much as I do, it’s a true god send!
Another thing I love about Hannaford (besides the low prices and straight forward sales); is that they are really in tune with the community. I mean, my local store even has a little lending library in the front! It makes me honestly feel good about spending my money there.
Speaking of money, starting January 22, Hannaford is going to up their game even more with the all new My Hannaford Rewards program. My Hannaford Rewards is a new program that Hannaford is introducing to show their appreciation and thanks to shoppers like you and me. When you sign up for the program, you will earn 2% back on the food you buy most often including fresh produce, meat, seafood, Hannaford deli items, and countless Hannaford brand items! Isn’t it about time you got paid to grocery shop for food you actually want to buy?!
You can easily sign up for the My Hannaford Rewards program by visiting hannaford.com, in-store, or through the new Hannaford app (available on Apple and Android). I did it right from the mobile app and it took me maybe two minutes! All I had to do is enter a little information about myself (like my name, email address, and phone number) and I was all set. It was super simple!
And, once you sign up you will also get offers for FREE groceries and personalized coupons for foods you actually buy and love!
I was greeted with some nice value coupons for things like Tide, GoGo Squeeze and more. I was happily surprised because these are items I had planned on purchasing anyway, but could now get for an even lower price thanks to the app!
Another great thing about this simple program is you don’t have to worry about forgetting to enter your phone number or scan your barcode and not getting the same everyday low price! I don’t know how many times I have forgotten a store’s loyalty card and been stuck paying way more because I couldn’t remember what phone number the card was linked to. It’s the worst thing ever! You know I was only buying those items because they were on sale!
The rewards you earn are in addition to the savings you get without being a part of the program. You then bank your rewards until the end of the quarter when you can redeem them the same way you earned them, by scanning your barcode on your phone or entering your phone number.
If it sounds like I am “fan girling” over the new My Hannaford Rewards program, it’s because I am. I no longer have to worry about cutting coupons (they are now on the app and all I have to do is “clip” them virtually), even if I forget my phone I get the same low price, and it’s like I am getting paid back for grocery shopping. I also don’t have to worry about forgetting to redeem my rewards because they are stored right on my phone. What more could I really ask for from a store I already love to shop at?
